Funds accumulated by Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund 0.1% up in May

Kyiv, June 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The funds accumulated by the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund in May 2011 expanded by 0.1%, to UAH 4.094 billion, according to the fund's press service.

The press release says that since early 2011 the funds grew by 20.8% or by UAH 704 million, from UAH 3.39 billion.

The money accumulated by the fund in 2010 went down by 21.2% or UAH 912 million from UAH 4.302 billion.

Currently 167 banks are participants in the fund, while the group of provisional participants consists of eight banks.

As reported, the maximum compensation sum for deposits in Ukraine is UAH 150,000.

The press release also includes data on payments to depositors as of June 1, 2011.

Some 3,360 depositors of the Syntez Bank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 78.7% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 85.158 million, or 97.3% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 3,149 depositors of the Zembank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 75.1% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 97.929 million, or 98.8% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 80 depositors of the Hypobank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 4% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 401,000, or 78.2% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 10,081 depositors of the Dnister Bank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 32.7% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 323.915 million, or 98.5% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 18,478 depositors of Bank BIG Energy received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 37% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 516.520 million, or 99.1% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 10,994 depositors of Transbank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 49.2% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum is UAH 433.732 million, or 99% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 4,474 depositors of the Arma Bank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 89.7% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 177.278 million, or 99.1% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 2,269 depositors of Ukrprombank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 1.3% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 24.621 million, or 83.1% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 1,008 depositors of Ukrainian Financial Group Bank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 77.1% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum is UAH 50.66 million, or 99.5% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 4,889 depositors of Eastern European Bank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 30.1% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum is UAH 209.221 million, or 99.4% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 5,824 depositors of the Bank for Regional Development received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 90.4% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 296.049 million, or 99.3% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 13,889 depositors of Bank Yevropeysky received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 79% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum was UAH 672.62 million, or 99.5% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 3,759 depositors of Bank National Standard received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 58.9% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum is UAH 264.404 million, or 99.3% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 2,291 depositors of Odesa-Bank received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 53.4% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum is UAH 93.927 million, or 99.4% of the total sum to be paid.

Some 4,320 depositors of Bank Prychornomoria received guaranteed compensation payments, which was 92.2% of the total number of those to be paid. The paid sum is UAH 116.722 million, or 99.6% of the total sum to be paid.
